January so far...

Watching the snow start to come :)

So, i have been neglecting my blog. I can't even count the number of times i have thought about posting and then gotten busy with something and never done it.
Christmas was wonderful. We had everyone home and it was so sweet to all be together.
Mom and I moved Will to Grand Cayman Island at the beginning of Jan. It was a nice time for me to get away from normal life and it was a blessing to see him get situated there. He is going to have a ton of work but he is in such a beautiful place! i'm very proud of him for pursuing his dream of becoming a doctor.
Daniel is taking steps now. . .about half the time. He still crawls a lot. His little toddling is so cute! I'm trying to capture it on video but have failed so far. every time he sees me trying to do it, he sits down and crawls to me to try to get the camera. little rascal! I'll sneak up on him soon though.
I'm thankful to say that everyone is currently well, sleeping good, and happy. We don't have any major life stuff happening. I'm thankful for that.
We have had lots of very cold days recently. We even got SNOW!

The kids had a blast (well, Daniel didn't really like it). Isaiah and Mercy played in the snow and ice every day until absolutely all of it was gone. Even a week later they were still finding little frozen spots to stomp on or mess with. It was fun to watch.
Mercy is still doing great in her big girl bed. She never gets up during the night and is so happy to be able to have more of her "friends" sleep with her (her babies and stuffed animal friends). I think we are on the verge of not needing her to wear a diaper to bed at night any more. She has been staying dry almost every night. she is very proud of herself and greets me every morning with, "Mommy! I kept my diaper dry! Can i have an M&M?" Love her.
Isaiah is still greatly enjoying school and anything Star Wars. We recently found a Star Wars cookbook at the library and we have been making Stormtrooper cookies and Yoda Soda and are excited to try some more out soon. He and Mercy run around playing Luke and Princess L (can't remember how to spell her name!) almost every day. I love when they pretend and get along well together.
Ok, naps are over so i best get off this computer. Until next time. . .
