Christmas Eve

It is so rare to have the whole gang together. This year we have been blessed to have a few days ALL together and I have loved it! all the kids have had so much fun running around, playing, and anticipating Christmas morning.
Tonight we all joined together at the Wisehart house with the Bachman family and enjoyed a soup/chili/salad dinner after our church candlelight service. We usually do a gift swap, but for simplicity decided this year to not do that and just enjoy the fellowship. CJ and Mac made a birthday cake for Jesus and brought that for the kids to do. They sang to Jesus and then had loads of fun trying to all blow the candles out together. Then we handed them forkes and let them dive in! Mercy was for sure the most aggressive eater of this cake. . . although she mainly scraped off the chocolate icing. I think she would have sat there until all the icing was gone if i had not required her to stop.

Now they are all tucked snugly into their beds and await the Christmas fun in the morning. And i am off to stuff some stockings! :)
