As soon as naps were over, i started getting the repetitive "Is it time to go to the party yet?" from Mercy and Isaiah. The hour that we waited for Daddy to get home seemed like about 5 days to me....and i'm sure to them.
But, alas, Daddy arrived and off we went to Chic-Fil-A. Any kid dressed up as a superhero or princess received a free kids meal. So, you better believe i dressed little mister Daniel up too. That boy has started eating real food now and man can he eat! He is so big! On a side note, this almost 9 month old boy weighs in at nearly 24 lbs! yeah, seriously big.
So, let me take a second to give some serious props to Chic-Fil-A. they did this one up big. Upon arriving, we were greeted by at least 10 superheroes and princesses...that looked very legitimate! Isaiah and Mercy were and are fully convinced that the REAL Batman and REAL Spiderman and REAL princesses were on location. They were beyond excited! After we sat down, these guys and gals started signing autographs for the kids. Very cute. Now we have "real" autographs from snow white, cinderella, sleeping beauty, batman, robin, spiderman, ironman, and several others.
Then, they set up a table with all the fixins for ice cream sundays. My kids traded in their toy for an ice cream and could pile gummy bears, chocolate chips, sprinkles, oreos, and reeses pieces on top. and they LOVED that.
Then, (yes, there's more) the "real" superheroes and princesses handed out little goodie bags.
So, worn out from all the excitement and full of chicken nuggets, fries, ice cream, and candy, we headed home. Boy did they have fun!
