I then bought all of the hotdog buns that i could get my hands on, at which point Isaiah exclaimed, "Mommy! Are you going to leave any for other people to buy!?!?" The answer to that was no.Then we loaded up on over 120 hotdogs, 6 bags of chips, 5 boxes of brownie mix, 8 twelve packs of coke products, lots of ketchup and mustard, and many plates and napkins. My cart was exploding! Seriously, it was difficult to maneuver all that and 3 kids. I couldn't physically unload it all while carrying Daniel. i'm thankful for the very helpful staff at Publix.
i rushed home, unloaded it all (which made me feel like i had worked out at a gym!), and then turned around and met friends at the park for a lunch date. Then, back home for naps and to begin cooking all those brownies and hotdogs.
The cookout went great. I think the kids felt very loved. And i feel very tired. Here are a few pics from the evening.
Off to bed so i can get ready for Mercy's 2nd birthday tomorrow! Happy almost birthday to my baby girl!
