Well, Mercy is all better! Praise the Lord! We are very thankful that it was relatively minor and that no one else has caught it... Yet. :)
No big news right now. Just living life and enjoying my family. Daniel is growing like a little weed. Seriously, he eats about as much as the big kids. Rarely does he reject any food. Last week when i was quarantined with Mercy, Daniel and Isaiah lived at Mom and Dad's. Because i started Tamiflu I decided to go ahead and wean Daniel. Mom transitioned him to whole milk in a bottle and he LOVES it. He is the most adaptable, flexible, easy going baby i have ever seen. He really will do almost anything i need him to do. He took to the bottle like a champ! His week must have seemed a little crazy to him...his mom disappeared for 5 days, the time changed, he quit nursing cold turkey, started taking a bottle, started whole milk, and slept in a different crib. But, again, he did great! so proud of my little buddy.
And i can't even describe how i longed to see him! it was so strange to be away from he and isaiah that long and know they were just around the corner. My heart ached to be with them. So, on Friday when Mercy had been fever free for more than 24 hrs, I jumped out of bed and headed to mom's house so i could be there when Daniel woke up. He looked so confused when he saw me, but quickly snuggled in and gave me a nice hug and smile. It does a mommy heart good to squeeze her little boy!
